System Engineer (a)\* Your tasks Taking responsibility: You are part of a small team and co-responsible for IT & technology at the locations Zurich, Basel and Bern. Operating infrastructure: You take care of the introduction, operation, monitoring and further development of the server environment, network components as well as storage and backup systems and cloud services (M365). Analyzing disturbances: You analyze complex problems and ensure sustainable solutions in continuous operation. Ensuring quality: You continuously monitor and optimize service delivery with regard to quality, effectiveness and efficiency. Ensuring operation: You ensure smooth operation and are responsible for the maintenance and documentation of the IT infrastructures and applications. Supporting broadcasting operations: With your commitment, you contribute to a disturbance-free and professional production and broadcasting operation. Performing on-call duty: You regularly take on on-call duties and are responsible for incident and change management up to 2nd level. Coordinating projects: In IT projects, you keep an overview and lead external partners technically and organizationally. Accompanying events: You are co-responsible for IT during external assignments and events of Energy. Your profile Sound education: You have a completed IT education and bring practical experience. Broad expertise: You have sound knowledge of network technologies, client, server and database architectures as well as Microsoft operating systems and applications. Experience in engineering: You bring practical experience in engineering and 2nd level support of larger ICT infrastructures (e.g. Vmware ESX / Nutanix, Enterprise Storage, MS Exchange Online, Active Directory). Strong communication skills: You enjoy interacting with users and customers and convince with high social competence. Team player mentality: You are committed, motivated and communicative and want to achieve something. Independent way of working: You work reliably, resiliently and precisely. Flexibility required: You bring high commitment and are open to evening and weekend assignments. Broadcast know-how is an advantage: Knowledge in the broadcast area (AXIA Livewire, Ravenna, Multicast) is a plus.
