Junior Business Intelligence Specialist (m/w/d) The SPT - Group develops and produces high-precision tools made of ceramic, hard metal, and steel at its locations in Lyss and Asia. The company is one of the leading providers in the injection molding of technical ceramics and holds a leading market position in its central product areas. The quality products manufactured by highly qualified specialists are primarily used in the electronics, medical, dental, automotive, and watch industries. Your Role As a globally positioned company, we use Qlik Sense as our central business intelligence solution to support operational and strategic decisions based on data. The ERP solution proAlpha, used group-wide, forms the most important data source for our analyses and reportings. Both systems are maintained and continuously developed by our team in Lyss (Switzerland). To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed Junior Business Intelligence Specialist who will work with us to further expand and optimize the cross-location data and reporting landscape. Your Tasks: Conception, development, and further development of BI solutions as well as interactive dashboards with Qlik Sense for our international locations (Switzerland, Singapore, China, and Philippines) Construction, harmonization, and further development of cross-location reportings based on the deployed ERP solution «proAlpha» Ensuring high data quality and consistency through defined key figures, data models, and validation processes Application of modern analysis and data science methods (e.g., predictive analytics or statistical models) to identify cost and efficiency potentials Close cooperation with the departments of sales, finance and controlling, production, and supply chain to capture and implement reporting requirements Automation of recurring evaluations as well as continuous optimization of existing ETL processes Support of management through meaningful KPI dashboards as a basis for operational and strategic decisions Training and support of key users at international locations in dealing with BI solutions Your Profile Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, business administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification Initial practical experience in the field of business intelligence or data analysis, e.g., through initial professional activity, a trainee program, or relevant internships Initial knowledge of Qlik Sense or a comparable BI tool (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) is an advantage but not a requirement – willingness to learn and interest in business intelligence are more important Initial experience with data science methods or analytical tools (e.g., R or comparable technologies) Good SQL knowledge or the motivation to acquire it quickly Ideally, initial experience in dealing with ERP data, preferably proAlpha Analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and independent way of working High level of initiative, willingness to learn, and enjoyment of working in an international production company Strong communication skills in exchange with specialist departments, management, and international teams Very good German as well as good English skills in speaking and writing What We Offer A varied activity with an international connection The opportunity to actively help shape modern BI and data analytics solutions A motivated team with short decision-making paths Personal and professional development as well as targeted further training opportunities Assumption of 60 % of the pension fund contributions Further benefits in the areas of catering, fitness, and mobility Ready for the next step?
