Start of position: 01. October 2027 to 31. March 2028 Work location: Bern The High Court of the Canton of Bern offers aspiring female and male lawyers the opportunity to complete a six-month practical judicial training in its criminal or civil division in the sense of the Ordinance on the Bar Examination (BSG 168.221.1). Your tasks As a male or female legal intern in the 1. Strafkammer as well as the Beschwerdekammer of the criminal division, you will participate independently in the clarification of legal questions, keep the minutes during hearings, and, under expert supervision by the responsible court clerks, draft written judicial considerations as well as draft judgments in written proceedings. Your profile We expect from you a completed degree in law (MLaw) at the time of starting the position. You are motivated, interested, and possess editorial skill. Working with Windows/Office is familiar to you. Ideally, you have initial practical experience. The degree of employment ranges optionally between 80% and 100%. The working conditions are based on the cantonal personnel law (PG; BSG 153.01) as well as the Ordinance on the employment relationship of interns (Internship Ordinance *PAV*; BSG 153.012.1).
