Die Offene Kinder- und Jugendarbeit Region Jungfrau is a specialist center that advocates for the needs of children, adolescents, and young adults in the Bödeli (Interlaken and surroundings) and the Lütschinen valleys (Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen). Starting October 01, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for a Youth Worker 50% - 60% ## Your area of activity • Right in the middle of the action: Philosophizing outside with the fire bowl, hosting gaming sessions, letting off steam creatively in the atelier, throwing a ping-pong tournament, or closing an open gymnasium again after sports - you plan, accompany, and evaluate projects directly with the youth • Allrounder Vibe: You work actively and right in the middle of the action in the other areas (youth house, projects, children, parents). • Providing a Safe Space: You have an open ear for the worries of the kids and stand by them with advice and action when life is occasionally cooked. • Content & communication: You take over part of the public relations and digital communication. • Networking with associations, authorities, institutions, and specialists • Participation in working groups and committees Your specialties • Creative bundle of energy: You have experience working with children and adolescents and actively contribute your own ideas. Even in the eye of the storm, you are the calm pole and maintain an overview. • Participation instead of mainstream: You know how real co-determination works and know the difference between participation and party pizza - but you can do both. • Jack-of-all-trades: You can operate a cordless drill, you know that TikTok algorithms change weekly, and you are aware of how important openness, empathy, and congruence are in relationship work so that you can empathize with the living world of children and adolescents. • Patience level: Pro: As a flexible person, you are okay with municipal structures. You take longer decision-making processes with a smile and understanding. • Organizational talent: You organize like a boss but always keep an eye on your resources. • Qualifications: You have a university degree in Social Work and ideally possess a category B driver's license.
