Look forward to exciting tasks: • Further develop the load management tool and optimize the prediction and control of hot water demand in Basel. • Develop data-driven models and, if necessary, use machine learning methods to optimize and forecast energy plants. • Build interfaces to internal and external data sources and ensure the reliable provision of energy industry data. • Guarantee high data quality and minimize security risks when handling data. This will make us even better: • Completed studies (FH, Uni or ETH) in computer science, data science, physics, energy technology, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study. • Good Python skills and experience in the development, maintenance and further development of data or forecasting applications. • Confident handling of SQL databases and Git. • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, PyTorch) is an advantage. • Knowledge in thermodynamics, energy technology or related areas will facilitate your entry.
