Every day is different: your time will be shared between service desk tasks, training, internal projects and, above all, client projects. You will be involved in the management and implementation of BI projects, with a focus on Microsoft technologies, both on-premises and in the Cloud, including hands-on work with Microsoft Fabric. What to expect As a Microsoft BI & Fabric consultant, you will support our clients on-site or remotely throughout the complete lifecycle of their data analysis platforms and projects. Your tasks will include: • Developing data strategy and governance in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. • Architecture and administration of Microsoft Fabric environments (capacities, workspaces, security, monitoring). • Architecture and administration of Microsoft Power BI environments (tenants, gateways, workspaces, governance, licensing). • Design and development of data analysis solutions using Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, semantic models, notebooks). • Design and development of data analysis solutions using Microsoft Power BI (data models, reports, dashboards, apps). • Design and development of data analysis solutions using the Microsoft SQL Server BI suite (SQL Database Engine, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PBIRS). • Review of existing data analysis solutions based on Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power BI and the Microsoft SQL Server BI suite, with recommendations and roadmaps. • Implementation of data quality controls, ELT processes, data pipelines, migration solutions and CI/CD processes. • Implementation of compliance and data protection controls (classification, masking, virtualization, access control, monitoring). • Integration into the DevOps universe (CI/CD for data and analytics assets, deployment and configuration automation). • Advising clients on best practices regarding data security, governance and operations, and helping them optimize their investments in the Microsoft data platform. What you bring If you hold a UAS, ETH or equivalent degree, here is why you would be the ideal candidate for us. Ideally, you: • Are specialized in Microsoft BI components (Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PBIRS) and/or Microsoft Fabric, and have a good knowledge of the SQL Server engine. • Have proven experience in the infrastructure and administration of these components (on-premises and/or Azure). • Have solid experience in the design and development of data analysis solutions, including data modeling and BI projects from design to implementation. • Know data governance, data quality concepts and data protection/compliance topics. • Are curious and eager to learn and develop your knowledge; you like to explore new services and features of the Microsoft data platform. • Like working with clients, understanding their needs and discovering their various environments and business areas. • Speak fluent French or German and are proficient in English.
