Calculation Engineer in Special Machines 100% (M/F)

• 11 August 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Aigle Field of activity: Naval, heavy equipment, lifting What you achieve: • You analyze our customers' needs through the issued specifications. • You justify and optimize the design of structures by performing sizing calculations and testing for static, dynamic, and thermal loads, in compliance with current standards. • You write the technical documentation related to calculation activities during all phases of the project, including during testing. • You actively participate in internal progress meetings and meetings with customers. What you bring: • You hold an EPF engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+5). • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position. • Mastery of strength of materials calculations is imperative and you have a good mechanical sense. • You perfectly understand finite element theory and know how to justify your modeling choices. • You express yourself and write with ease in French and English. You are capable of defending your technical solutions in these two languages. • Proficiency in FEMAP and MSC Nastran calculation software is imperative. • Knowledge of standards such as Eurocodes, FEM, and EN 13001 would be a real asset. • You are an autonomous, organized, and rigorous person and are proactive. • You know how to make decisions, explain them, but also defend them.
