Description of the company ## With more than 13'000 collaborators and collaboratrices representing 160 professions, the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève are a reference institution at the national and international level. Counting nearly 1'500 collaboratrices and collaborators, the Département de réadaptation et gériatrie (DRG) constitutes a medical pole centered on the elderly and is spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour and Joli-Mont. It takes care of acute situations, thanks in particular to the emergencies of the Hôpital des Trois-Chêne, specific problems related to age, medical rehabilitation and palliative medicine. The Centre de soins palliatifs et soins de support of the HUG is an interdepartmental medical structure that brings together the varied skills essential for the care of patients and patients requiring a palliative approach. It develops and coordinates the optimal strategy to integrate this palliative approach into the care provided to patients outside specialized palliative care units. Job description ## Attached to the head of the palliative care service, you supervise multidisciplinary care in accordance with the procedures established by the Centre. You coordinate the network of palliative care references in collaboration with the departments and the various activities of the centre (organization of symposium, RESOPAL) You collaborate with the Itinéraire Patient Manager (IPM) and the RES to improve care. You participate in the coordination of the various ongoing projects. You train the concerned collaborators and collaborators in the identification of patients and patients eligible for standardized or complex care. As well as in the use of evaluation and monitoring tools related to standardized processes and care. You implement and monitor relevant indicators (e.g. coverage rate of care). You improve the quality of care by proposing quality actions and participate in the promotion of the Centre within the network. Qualifications ## You hold a HES degree, completed by a specialization in the field of the Centre. Skills in project management and/or quality of care, certified by training, are highly desirable. Professional experience in a palliative care service, supplemented by a certificate in palliative care (certificate or diploma in palliative care), is an asset. You have expertise in process coordination. You demonstrate solid analytical and synthetic skills, as well as the ability to work in a network. You are a methodical, rigorous person and demonstrate a critical and innovative spirit. You possess relational qualities, as well as a strong sense of leadership. You demonstrate a great ability to adapt and be flexible. You have a solid mastery of computer tools, both internal and external. In-depth knowledge of the HUG is an additional asset.
