Heating specialist technician

Job description ## The Direction de l'ingénierie et de la durabilité (DID) provides technical and strategic expertise within the Direction générale des immeubles et du patrimoine (DGIP) regarding energy and the environment. As a heating specialist technician, you contribute to the operation and energy quality of the heating installations of the real estate portfolio of l-État de Vaud and ensure the technical link between engineering and building operations. Responsibilities ## • Perform technical visits of the heating installations of the cantonal real estate portfolio, establish complete and documented inventories, evaluate the general state of the equipment, identify malfunctions and formulate recommendations • Develop technical estimates, collect and verify the technical data necessary for the estimate and participate, in collaboration with the engineer project managers, in the analysis of received offers • Update and develop principle diagrams from field surveys • Provide technical support in the field by performing occasional controls of the installations, supporting the engineer project managers and the operations teams during commissioning and participating in site coordination meetings • Manage and ensure occasional troubleshooting interventions on broken installations. Qualifications ## • CFC as a building technology designer heating, ES diploma in building technology - heating orientation, or training deemed equivalent • Continuing education in renewable energies or energy optimization • At least 10 years of professional experience in heating installation (design, estimation, site supervision) and at least 5 years in the replacement of heat production with the integration of renewable energies • Technical mastery of heating installations and technical heating drawing (principle diagram, surveys, codification and CAD), notions in hypervision systems and interpretation of monitoring data • Ability to carry out detailed estimates, experience in conducting audits and carrying out technical inventories • Autonomy, ability to adapt and flexibility, ability to develop positive exchanges within networks of stakeholders and specialists, sense of responsibility and public service ethics.
