What you move You ensure that all legal requirements as well as internal guidelines of Migros, M-Industrie and Micarna in the areas of environmental, chemical and dangerous goods safety are complied with You are the central contact person for internal and external bodies such as environmental offices, SUVA or other authorities You continue to build up the environmental and chemical management for Segment I of Migros Industrie and continuously develop it together with the operations You define processes, standards and organizational structures so that environmental safety and dangerous goods management are effectively implemented in everyday life. You carry out audits, safety and risk inspections as well as regular inspections in operations, warehouses and work areas You work closely with various areas such as occupational safety, health protection, fire protection, security, purchasing and maintenance and initiate corrective and preventive measures You support the operations in the practical implementation of the requirements in the areas of environment, chemicals and dangerous goods You plan and coordinate training, instructions as well as internal awareness and communication measures for employees at all levels You take on professional responsibility in your area, actively contribute your know-how and make decisions within the framework of the applicable competencies and regulations What you bring with you Education: Completed studies (Uni/ETH, FH, HF) Specialization: Sound chemical understanding, ideally with a completed vocational apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory technician or a comparable training or a degree, e.g., Bachelor in Life Sciences with a focus on chemistry or biology Professional experience: 3-5 years successful experience in a similar position Sound chemical understanding, ideally with a completed vocational apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory technician or a comparable training or a degree, e.g., Bachelor in Life Sciences with a focus on chemistry or biology In-depth knowledge of the environmental law framework conditions, especially in the Environmental Protection Act, Water Protection Act, in the Air Pollution Control Ordinance as well as in chemical legislation Knowledge of environmental management according to ISO 14001 as well as experience in conducting and accompanying audits Experience in working with various target groups Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working Knowledge of fire protection is an advantage Possible work locations: Bazenheid or Courtepin.
