Post-master legal intern (M/F) Job description As a post-master legal intern within the office d'exécution des peines, you analyze and monitor cases of convicted persons from the implementation of the criminal sentence until final release. Responsibilities Collaborate on the management of the execution of sentences and criminal measures and handle legal issues concerning convicted persons. Provide support to the Direction of the OEP regarding legal questions related to the management of criminal convictions, notably by drafting decisions or referrals to judicial authorities. Accompany legal experts to interdisciplinary meetings concerning convicted persons placed under the authority of the OEP as well as the hearings of the latter For further information, please contact Madame Eliane Cornu, juriste, at . Qualifications Holder of a Bachelor and a university Master in law, respectively in magistracy or in criminology. Excellent writing and synthesis skills. Very comfortable with IT tools Knowledge of a foreign language desired. Strong interest in the criminal field and the execution of sentences and measures and already possess good theoretical knowledge in connection. Demonstrating empathy, rigor, very good resistance to stress, you know how to maintain the necessary distance with detainees. 6 month internship, paid CHF 1'810.- / month Our employment conditions require that you are Swiss or holder of a permit C, exempt from an act of default of assets (an extract from the Office des poursuites must be presented during the process), and your criminal record must be clean. There is a right to consult the criminal record in application of the Loi fédérale sur le casier judiciaire by the hiring authority for this function. WHO ARE WE?
