Nurse 50% night shift M/F

INTRODUCTION Medicalis Neuchâtel is looking for one of its partners, an EMS located near Fribourg, a qualified nurse for a 50% night shift position, as soon as possible. The night nurse in the EMS ensures continuity, safety and quality of care for residents during night hours. He/she plays a key role in clinical surveillance, emergency management and maintaining the well-being of residents. Main missions • Ensure prescribed nursing care and comfort care at night • Monitor the health status of residents and detect any clinical changes • Manage emergency situations and make adapted decisions within the framework of his/her skills • Administer medical treatments according to medical prescriptions • Ensure written and oral transmissions with the day team • Collaborate with care assistants and night staff • Guarantee a calm, secure and reassuring climate for residents • Ensure respect for protocols, ethics and hygiene rules • Responsibilities • Be the reference nurse during the night shift • Act with autonomy while respecting the institutional framework • Ensure the safety of residents and infrastructure • Maintain constant quality of care despite reduced staff EXPECTED PROFILE Responsibilities :  Be the reference nurse during the night shift Act with autonomy while respecting the institutional framework Ensure the safety of residents and infrastructure Maintain constant quality of care despite reduced staff Required skills :  Solid clinical skills and analytical ability Autonomy, calmness and sense of responsibility Ability to manage stress and unexpected events Sense of observation and communication Empathy, discretion and respect for residents • Recognized nursing diploma (or Swiss equivalent) • Experience in EMS or geriatric care desired • Good command of French • Availability for night work
