Deputy Managing Director Swiss Nurse Leaders is the Swiss association of nursing leaders. The association unites around 500 members from all areas of care, all parts of the country, and all management levels. The association promotes the development of Leadership & Management in nursing and offers members, among other things, a strong network as well as diverse continuing education events. Swiss Nurse Leaders strengthens the role and the voice of nursing management at strategic and political levels and promotes endeavors in favor of economic, effective, and evidence-based nursing. For our head office based in Bern, we are looking for a (f/m/d) as of 1. December 2026 or by arrangement: Deputy Managing Director (60%) Your tasks Preparation of decision-making bases for the board and the general assembly Preparation and follow-up of board meetings, support of committees and working groups Representation of the association in selected topics towards partner organizations and the public Organization, implementation and evaluation of continuing education events Planning and implementation of internal and external communication Support and representation of the Managing Director in selected topics and projects What you bring with you Tertiary degree in politics, health, or business administration Knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system, especially in the area of nursing and the associated educational system Strong understanding of the functioning of politics and the interaction of actors in the healthcare system Strong competencies in (online) communication and great editorial skill Very good English and good German skills. Italian is an advantage. Experience in association management or the management of a secretariat is an advantage Enjoyment of a very diverse area of responsibility and the willingness to participate in all association activities Interest in the positioning and further development of the association in cooperation with the Managing Director and the board.
