As a scientific employee of the specialist unit for chemicals, you will implement the chemicals legislation and thus make an important contribution to protecting health and the environment in the canton of Bern. Your tasks <br /> • Carrying out inspections in accordance with chemicals law at companies in the canton of Bern • Assessing the conformity of chemical products, partly with sampling • Writing reports and checking the measures you have taken • Planning and carrying out campaigns in cooperation with specialist units of other cantons and the federal government <br /> Your profile <br /> • Completed degree in natural sciences (university or university of applied sciences) in chemistry, environmental sciences or a similar field • High social competence, pronounced independence and assertiveness • Ability to recognize complex relationships, work interdisciplinary and act flexibly • Very good knowledge of German (C2), good knowledge of French and a category B driver's license are required • Experiences in handling chemicals and dangerous goods as well as the relevant laws are an advantage <br /> We offer you An interesting and varied activity with design possibilities in a competent and collegial team.
