The Alterszentrum Rubiswil in Ibach - Schwyz is a wonderful home for elderly people in the heart of Central Switzerland with a view of the mountains. Whether as long-term or short-term residents, holiday guests, or in the Hospiz Talkessel Schwyz, where terminally ill people and their relatives are accompanied, cared for, and supported – the human being is at the center of everything we do. YOUR MAIN TASKS INCLUDE • Production of cold and warm dishes and desserts • Responsible for the mise en place and a smooth workflow • Plating the menus at the serving station for residents • Co-responsible for the ordering and control system of food items YOU WILL CONVINCE US WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE • Completed apprenticeship as Köchin / Koch EFZ; "re-entrants" are also welcome • Experience in a social institution • Careful handling of food and a sense of order and cleanliness • Very good German language skills in spoken and written form • Sociability, good manners WE OFFER YOU • Working hours without midday break between 07:00-16:00 or 08:30-17:30 • Permanent employment in the gastronomy sector • 1-2 free weekends per month • Meaningful and varied tasks at a modern workplace • 5 weeks vacation / extra-statutory social security benefits • Role-related training and further education, occupational health management, and various employee discounts
