January 2027 or by arrangement Your responsibility: Personnel, technical, organizational as well as financial leadership of the office Strategic orientation and positioning of the department Ensuring a future-proof and innovative orientation as well as positioning of the office, including continuous review and optimization of existing processes Support of the Government Council in all office matters Management of office business from preparation through decision-making to ensuring implementation Maintenance of partnerships and networking with a wide variety of stakeholders incl. cooperation with executive management, directorate, departments, superior Government Council as well as participation in (inter-) cantonal and national commissions, working groups and bodies, such as Cantonal Leadership Staff Basel-Landschaft (KFS) Your background: You have a completed degree (FH, HF, university) preferably in the field of forestry, environmental science or comparable as well as proven professional experience in the topics of forest and and ideally in other topics of the office (hunting, fishing, wood). In addition, you bring convincing leadership experience, are proficient in concept development as well as strong in implementation and achieve set goals. You are a responsible, decisive and open-minded leadership personality. Furthermore, you are loyal, established as well as proficient and successful in dealing with various stakeholders.
