This department provides care to female and male patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and oto-rhino-laryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to the rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation). The objective of the department is to lead patients toward a recovery of their autonomy through teaching, support and outpatient follow-up. It ensures the operation of patients as well as their support, in order to promote an early return home. In the same vein, outpatient care is also prioritized and operative activity optimized, to facilitate accessibility to care within a reasonable timeframe. The Service de neurologie manages, on diagnostic and therapeutic levels, female and male patients suffering from a neurological condition, often in collaboration with other Services such as neuroradiology, neurosurgery, neurorehabilitation and the internal medicine specialty Services. Technician Epilepsy-EEG Unit – 80% to 100% You are responsible for welcoming and taking care of female and male patients coming to undergo neurophysiological examinations. You work in two sectors at once, both inpatient and outpatient, but also at the bedside of patients on different sites. You perform various examinations: EEG, Polysomnography, evoked potentials (motor, sensory, visual and auditory) which are prescribed by the medical team, for hospitalized and/or outpatient patients whose age can vary from newborn to elderly person. You accompany the patients as well as their entourage during the course of epilepsy disease for preparation for a potential surgery by relying on therapeutic education. You work in close collaboration with the medical team. You provide specific autonomous care and perform delegated medical acts. You manage emergency situations. Qualifications You benefit from specialized training in electrophysiology, Bachelor TRM or all equivalent titles. You have at least two years of professional practice in a similar function. You possess knowledge and have an interest in technology, IT, and the evolution of neurophysiological investigation methods which are constantly evolving. You have good knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level). Occasional and continuous theoretical training will be offered to you. You can work within a multidisciplinary team, while facing fluctuating demand autonomously. You are a person endowed with interpersonal ease, rigor, flexibility, versatility and openness to change. You participate in the continuous training offered by the medical team and/or in specialty congresses, while having the opportunity to specialize in one or another investigation technique.
