Berne \| 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Translation from German -- occasionally from Italian and English -- into French of texts of all kinds relating to the various fields of the DDPS • Revision of texts translated or written in French • Terminological research • Work on our translation support tool STAR Transit (notably alignment of translations) • Administrative tasks related to the operation of the service <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree in translation or other university degree, preferably in law, obtained less than 18 months ago • Very good command of two official languages and knowledge of the third official language would be an asset • Excellent general knowledge; interest in security policy and current affairs, particularly in the cyber field • Good knowledge of MS-Office applications and, if possible, translation support tools (STAR Transit) • Quick-wittedness, rigor, team spirit, sense of humor, autonomy, stress resistance and flexibility <br /> In a few words Security through cooperation. The General Secretariat of the DDPS is the staff body of the department. It assists the head of the department as a member of the Federal Council and in the management of the department. The SG DDPS develops the political strategy and directives intended for the administrative units, supports and monitors their implementation. It also ensures planning, control and coordination at the departmental level in the cross-cutting areas of personnel, finance, law and IT, but also in the field of security policy or in the field of spatial planning and the environment.
