Today, the Service de l'Aménagement is recruiting: A male or female Urban Planner at 80-100% Your mission: You carry out studies and manage major urban development projects contributing to the development, sustainability, and quality of life of the municipality. In this capacity, you notably lead strategic localized neighborhood plans called upon to sustainably transform the communal territory. You conduct land and territorial studies to inform political decisions regarding urban development. As a privileged contact for various stakeholders, you negotiate and coordinate public-private partnerships in order to strengthen communal control over territorial development and to enhance the investments made. Mastering the planning and territorial qualification instruments in force in Genève, you accompany projects from opportunity studies to the entry into force of zoning plans, or even their realization, ensuring, if necessary, the preparation of deliberative acts submitted to the communal authorities. You also analyze reports relating to building permits. Mobility-related challenges are numerous in our municipality and significant experience in this matter constitutes an asset. Your profile: Holding a training at a Bachelor level, or recognized at a comparable or higher level, in the field of urban development, you also have at least 5 to 8 years of professional experience useful for the position. You have contributed to concrete projects and achievements in Genève and demonstrated a good knowledge of local requirements regarding laws and regulations. Capable of working autonomously, you also enjoy contributing to a team that shares your values. Enthusiastic, you have a keen sense of public service. You have excellent written and oral communication skills with all types of audiences. To this end, you perfectly master the French language as well as common office tools. Does this profile suit you?
