Your tasks • You assume technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of 5-10 experts in modeling, drawing creation, simulation, and product data management. In doing so, you combine leadership with operational engineering expertise • You plan and control resources for projects/changes and ensure efficient implementation • You bring new ideas and approaches for future SCHOTT products into implementation • With your team, you continuously develop methods, processes, and tools. You ensure the standard-compliant and efficient creation and maintenance of models, documents, and data and prescribe binding standards (e.g., drawings using ISO GPS) • You actively contribute your expertise to development, organizational, and IT projects and assess technical feasibility • You maintain an internal and external network to specialist groups, internal customers, and suppliers Your profile • You have a technical degree or a comparable qualification • You have leadership experience and assertiveness, with a confident appearance before steering committees • You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in design/construction • You convince through your communication skills in German and English (written and oral) • You have in-depth knowledge in manufacturing- and application-oriented design of plastic injection-molded components • You have experience in the simulation of mechanical behavior and injection molding processes • You have knowledge in product data management (PDM/PLM) and are familiar with the relevant standards and their application (e.g., ISO GPS) • From your professional background, you possess knowledge in CAx systems Your benefit As open as SCHOTT is to your further development, so extensive is our range of additional benefits.
