Die Stiftung Blaues Kreuz / MUSUB beider Basel offers the population of the Basel region a differentiated and demand-oriented counseling and prevention service. We accompany people regarding the topics of addiction, health, family, finances, and work - resource-oriented, professionally sound, and with a holistic view of the person. Die MUSUB (Multikulturelle Suchtberatung beider Basel) specializes in transcultural addiction counseling. With our work, we create access for people of different origins and promote equal opportunities in the health and addiction assistance system. For our specialist center MUSUB beider Basel, we are looking for an engaged personality as of 1. November 2026 or by arrangement as Addiction Counselor / Addiction Counselor 60 - 80 % ## Your tasks You accompany people with addiction diseases and their relatives with a migration background on their personal path of change and undertake diverse and responsible tasks in the process: • Counseling of those affected as well as relatives in individual, couple, and family discussions • Counseling and accompaniment within the framework of the learning program against domestic violence • Management of group offers and courses • Networking and cooperation with institutions in the health, social, and addiction assistance sectors • Maintenance of contacts to regional cultural associations and relevant networks • Co-development of innovative counseling offers and new projects in the transcultural context What you bring with you • Good language skills in Portuguese and German • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a comparable field of study • Joy in working with people as well as a resource- and solution-oriented basic attitude • Independent, structured way of working and team spirit • High social competence, ability to reflect, and openness to new ideas • Professional experience in the addiction sector is welcome, but not a prerequisite Why you should come to us We do not only want to move clients forward - but also our employees.
