• 30 June 2026 • 100% • Indefinite period • Staefa Staefa, Switzerland Principal Signal Processing Manager - RIC and BTE (m/f/d) Sonova is looking for a Principal Manager, RIC and BTE Solutions, to lead the development and delivery of signal processing solutions for RIC and BTE hearing products. This role offers technical, functional, and human leadership to ensure scalable, high-quality, and product-ready software solutions, supporting Sonova's global hearing system platforms. More information about the position • Lead and take responsibility for the development, design, and integration of signal processing functionalities for Sonova hearing systems • Provide technical leadership and decision-making authority for signal processing implementation • Promote reuse, scalability, and product readiness across Sonova platforms, products, and brands • Establish clear cross-domain alignment and decision-making between departments and sectors • Collaborate closely with product management and project managers to ensure customer focus and market success • Lead, develop, and manage a team of software professionals while supporting talent development and succession planning More information about you • Bachelor's or Master's in software engineering, systems engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline • Proven leadership experience in software development and team management in complex R&D environments • Extensive experience in the design and delivery of software functionalities across multiple platforms, product generations, and versions • Good understanding of digital signal processing (DSP), system integration, fitting software, and regulated product development • Ability to lead through uncertainty while balancing innovation, scalability, quality, and long-term platform value • Strong and confident communicator with demonstrated interpersonal skills applied to leadership and collaboration among technical, audiological, and business stakeholders • Experience working in international, multi-site, and cross-functional environments • Curious about emerging technologies, including AI, with a forward-looking vision and a passion for innovation • Proficiency in English; German is a plus More information about what we offer: As one of the world's leading hearing care providers based in Switzerland, we are committed to building an inclusive culture.
