From April 2029, we are awarding a position as Medical Student Intern Internal Medicine 100% ## Your area of responsibility You will receive the following insights • Supervision of inpatient internal medicine patients • Assistance with patient admission and discharge • Learning and practicing specific clinical examination techniques as well as the assessment of technical examinations • In the emergency station: Medical emergency admissions, care of outpatient/GP patients, participation in minor surgical procedures (wound care, repositioning, casting) • Medical student interns are integrated into the on-call service operations Your profile • Medical student interns in the elective study year (CH) or internship year/PJ (D) • Very good German skills in speaking and writing • Independent, reliable way of working • Resilient, flexible, responsible, and eager to learn • Working in a team and having an interest in learning more about how a regional hospital operates Our offer • Learning clinical assessment (anamnesis, status) in inpatient and outpatient patients, holistic assessment of a patient with the creation of a diagnostic and therapy plan • Carrying out diagnostic tests, learning informed consent discussions, participation in specialist examinations (ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy) • Learning differential diagnostic approaches as well as expanding the ability for problem-oriented thinking For further information, the Internal Medicine secretariat is at your disposal at the telephone number +41 81 414 81 58 or email UHU.jobs@spitaldavos.ch.
