The position is attached to the Département des neurosciences cliniques. This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and otorhinolaryngological pathologies. You hold a cross-functional position essential to the development of the unit's academic and research activities.
In this capacity, you are responsible for data extraction from electronic medical records, verifying their accuracy by comparison with source documents, and entering them into REDCap databases. Throughout the process, you perform quality control and check data consistency; you ensure follow-up and resolve missing data.
You ensure the management, structuring and maintenance of data and/or clinical registries.
You support the scientific team in organizing studies, documentary follow-up, performing descriptive analyses, preparing digital media, and during the drafting of reports, abstracts and publications.
You ensure the coordination of research projects involving internal HUG collaborators or external ones.
You are involved in the application of regulatory and ethical procedures.
Qualifications ##
You have an academic background at Master's level in neuroscience, biomedical sciences, public health, epidemiology or an equivalent discipline.
You have a perfect command of French, both oral and written (minimum C1) and a proven writing ability.
Experience in clinical database management or in clinical research is an asset, as is experience with REDCap.
Knowledge of descriptive statistics as well as mastery of software such as R, SPSS or STATA is appreciated.
You are a methodical, rigorous and organized person. You demonstrate discretion and strictly respect confidentiality when handling medical data.
You are able to work autonomously, take initiative within your scope of responsibilities and manage your priorities effectively.
