Legal Counsel (60 - 80%) The Swiss Cancer Institute is the national network for clinical cancer research in Switzerland. Since 1965, we have been committed as a non-profit organization to improving cancer treatment for the population. In accordance with our vision «Clinical research for a cure tomorrow», we conduct clinical studies in oncology and are the central contact person for authorities, professional associations, and the pharmaceutical industry. Around 70 employees at the competence center in Bern work closely with all leading oncological clinics in the country. To strengthen our Legal Team, we are looking for a motivated, reliable, and service-oriented personality as Legal Counsel (60 - 80%) immediately or by arrangement. Your tasks: Drafting and reviewing various contracts Conducting and coordinating contract negotiations Legal support in the establishment of cancer studies and other projects Clarification of complex legal issues Legal advice to the specialist departments in all legal matters Contact person for various stakeholders (e.g., management or board) regarding legal questions Drafting and adapting contract templates What you bring: Completed law studies, preferably with experience in contract law in a medical environment or in the field of data protection Interest in contract law and medico-legal issues Independence, reliability, punctuality, and pragmatism A high degree of self-organization and very good communication skills Ability to work in a team and the competence to work across departments Analytical thinking and a high degree of quality awareness Excellent knowledge of the English and German languages What we offer: Look forward to a versatile area of responsibility with meaning and impact - in close proximity to the Bern railway station and in a collegial, committed team.
