Do you enjoy being in daily contact with people and do you like advising and selling? Then training in retail is precisely what you need! During the initial three-year training, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to succeed in your entry into the diverse world of retail at La Poste. Your training location will be located in Martigny, Monthey or Sion. Your training • A true showcase of La Poste, you will be in contact every day with our female and male customers in the branch, and you will advise our clientele on our entire range of physical and digital products at the counter and on the sales floor. • Receiving letters and parcels, carrying out deposits and payments, selling products and services or providing advice based on needs: your tasks will be as interesting as they are varied. • La Poste is positioning itself more and more as a service center for partner companies such as insurance companies, banks and health insurance funds: you will have the opportunity here to acquire additional knowledge of these sectors. • The range of offers proposed in the branches includes other products and services around specific themes (e.g. Habitat, Gifting, Adventure): you will be at the heart of the action when it comes to supporting national and regional campaigns and creating varied shopping experiences for customers. • You will have the possibility to acquire and deepen your operational skills within a team and in different branches. • Finally, inter-company and internal training courses will allow you to make the link between theory and practice. The conditions to be met are the following: • You have completed your compulsory schooling of the intermediate secondary level with good results. • You have a sense of numbers and you know how to manage money. • Human contact is for you a source of fulfillment and you are able to express yourself by adapting your mode of communication to situations, both orally and in writing. • You distinguish yourself by your sense of organization and your taste for order. • You are furthermore someone who is open, reliable and discreet. • Finally, you are happy to share your specialized knowledge.
