Head of Logistics in the Machine Industry (80% operational collaboration and 20% management)

At Mechtop AG, you will take on this hub function as a logistics manager and be responsible for smooth internal and external logistics and inventory. You will be in close contact with other departments and maintain open communication. YOUR TASKS WITH US • Active collaboration in the operational day-to-day business in the logistics team (80%) • Ensuring smooth processes and ongoing optimization of processes (Lean) • Responsibility for the warehouse and operating resources • Responsible for the company's vehicle fleet • Responsible for order in and around the operation • Ensuring rolling inventory • Monitoring goods receipt • Organizing and coordinating transports (internal/external) • Close exchange with other departments • Maintaining logistics master data • Leading the logistics team (2-3 employees), personnel planning (20%) • Participation in project and team leader meetings REQUIREMENTS • Experience in the machine industry is an advantage • Mechanical knowledge required • Training as a logistics specialist EFZ • Experience as a team leader or in leading a small team • Experience with ERP (e.g. SAP Business One) • Quick grasp and a pronounced sense of cost awareness • Organizational talent • Responsible, reliable, team-oriented and flexible • Independent and self-responsible way of working • Open, motivated and resilient personality • German in word and writing • Basic knowledge of Lean Management • Good MS-Office skills We look forward to your written application by mail to personal@mechtop.ch
