You lead the area with expertise, clarity and humanity and actively help to shape the return counseling in the Kanton Luzern. Your tasks • You lead your five-person team with appreciation and clarity, both professionally and personally, thereby creating the framework in which employees can develop further. • With strategic foresight and the courage to set priorities, you continuously develop the area, optimize processes, work out professional and organizational foundations and contribute impulses. • In the tension between legal requirements and individual life situations, you ensure uniform and high-quality task fulfillment. • Based on sound professional knowledge, you operate in the daily business: you personally conduct counseling sessions, manage dossiers independently and write legal statements. • You participate in projects and conceptual work within the Abteilung Asyl und Rückkehr and represent the area in professional committees and working groups. Your profile • You have a (professional) university degree, preferably in humanities or social sciences, as well as practical experience in return counseling. • For you, leadership means taking responsibility and moving people forward - whether you have already lived this in a leadership function or are now ready to do so. • You are very familiar with the legal and institutional framework in the asylum and foreign affairs sector. You apply them confidently and solve even complex issues in a structured manner. • In situations where different cultures and difficult life circumstances meet, you communicate clearly, respectfully and in a solution-oriented manner. • You are a language talent and move confidently between several languages - you work in a structured manner and with foresight.
