For more information, visit: www.bachem.com To strengthen our team in the production of active ingredients, we are looking for a shift leader (chemist, pharmacist, chemical and pharmaceutical technologist or comparable training) in shift operation (a) 6/4, early/late/night shift. We offer you a varied range of tasks in the production of pharmaceutical active ingredients.   Your tasks • You lead a shift team. You take over the operational management on your shift and ensure production safety and quality with your team. • You are the line supervisor of the operators in your shift team and are responsible for the corresponding personnel responsibilities. You deploy employees according to their knowledge and ensure that the production plan is fulfilled. • You prepare production campaigns. To do this, you prepare starting materials in SAP and ensure that they are available as needed. You check the production rooms, equipment, and facilities for safety and GMP compliance and ensure their availability. • You ensure a correct flow of information to every employee or back to the production manager and communicate with various departments for improvements and corrections (e.g., with the technical department) • You and your shift team work in clean rooms and laboratories and perform tasks with lyophilizers and other equipment. • You and your team carefully control, monitor, observe, and document the production process according to the applicable HSE and GMP guidelines. You ensure both campaign preparation and follow-up in production (training and control of GMP-compliant production of a batch) • You make decisions for further production (e.g., based on in-process controls and analysis data) • You check both batch documentation and digital documentation as well as the associated logbook entries and ensure their careful processing • You actively work on the continuous improvement of our production facilities and workflows and initiate and support the improvement of production processes   Your profile • Completed training as a chemist, pharmacist, chemical and pharmaceutical technologist, or comparable training and several years of experience in the production area • Further training in the chemical-pharmaceutical field, e.g., industrial master or technician, or comparable qualification is advantageous • Pronounced sense of people and very good communication skills (ideally already experience in personnel management) • Sound GMP knowledge in the production environment and process documentation • Experience in clean room environments and handling highly active ingredients • You are an organizational talent and able to motivate employees to lead • You have a structured way of working that allows you to always keep an overview • Very good German language skills in word and writing • Experience with the commissioning of new facilities and processes • Willingness to work in shift operation, early/late and night shift   Our offer • A dynamic and strongly growing work environment with internal development opportunities • Employee promotion through numerous internal and external training offers • 60% takeover of pension fund contributions by Bachem AG as well as the possibility of over-obligatory provision with our choice savings plan • Diverse free sports activities on the Bachem campus   Do you want to drive innovations forward with us?
