Freight Forwarding Agent - Land Transport

Apply Initial Situation ### In this position, your focus is on the organization of truck transport. You coordinate groupage shipments, coordinate delivery dates, and ensure smooth processing of shipments. In doing so, you handle import and export orders as well as occasional national transports and take over simple customs and transit declarations. We are looking for someone who works independently and proactively and enjoys taking on responsibility. Vacancy No. 6647 ## Tasks ### • processing of import and export shipments in European groupage transport • coordinating collections, deliveries, and appointments with partners and customers • creating and checking freight documents (CMR, delivery notes, shipping documents) • processing customs formalities for import, export, and transit (mostly T-clearance) • tariffing goods and checking customs-relevant documents • monitoring shipments and proactive communication in case of deviations • calculating freight rates as well as creating offers • advising customers on transport processes and customs regulations Requirements ### • completed training as a freight forwarding agent or comparable • mandatory experience in the processing of truck groupage transport (cross-border) • customs knowledge mandatory, however practical experience in customs clearance is an advantage IT ### MS-Office - good knowledge Languages ### German: m+s very good English: m+s good French: m+s good Start Date ### by arrangement Work Location ### Region Aargau Härkingen Special Features ### You work in a young, collegial team in which people support each other and trust is highly valued.
