100 % by arrangement Shape the Security Operations Center of the Canton BL - job sharing possible - focus on web and database development Your responsibility <br /> • Coordination and ensuring the operation of the cantonal SOC services, implementation of proactive measures (e.g., planning of threat hunts) as well as creation of regular reports and participation in audits • Coordination between the members of the SOC organization/IT operations, the external MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider), IT security and IT management • Control, quality assurance, escalation and continuous further development of the SOC services, optimization of operational processes • Leading participation in projects that have the objective of the further expansion and optimization of the SOC services • Ensuring the monitoring and coordination of security incidents (Incident Response) • Participation in the continuous optimization of operational IT security in close cooperation with internal and external bodies • Responsibility for budget and cost planning as well as contract and supplier management • Taking over tasks in operational operation in the construction phase of the SOC (e.g. analysis, evaluation and processing of potential security incidents) <br /> Your background <br /> • Degree (Master Uni/FH) in Computer Science / Business Informatics / IT Security or an equivalent qualification • Relevant certifications in the field of IT security (e.g. CISSP, CISM, GCIH/GCIA etc.) as well as in project management (HERMES 2022, IPMA or comparable) • Sound, proven knowledge and professional experience in the field of information security, especially in the areas of SOC, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence/Hunting • Proven experience in the Windows and Linux environments as well as experience in dealing with SOC tools (e.g. SIEM, SOAR, XDR etc.) • Several years of sound experience in the field of management / coordination of a SOC is an advantage • Strong service orientation paired with strong communication skills, assertiveness and a high sense of responsibility • Systematic, goal-oriented and efficient way of working as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Curiosity about current trends and developments in the fields of Cyber Security as well as new attack techniques and protective measures; very good German and English skills in spoken and written form <br /> For questions about the position Enrico Carrara Teamleiter Workplace Engineering T 061 552 61 65 For questions about the application process Raffaela Bernold HR-Beraterin T 061 552 48 96 Zentrale Informatik Zentrale Informatik is the competence and service center of the cantonal administration for IT issues.
