Dezember 2026 Limited until December 2026 Your responsibility: <br /> • You work in the early, day or late shift and ensure the care and safety of the incarcerated persons • You maintain a respectful contact and interaction with the incarcerated persons and communicate at eye level • You care for, support and accompany the incarcerated persons in a professional and situation-appropriate manner • You are responsible for order and safety in the prison (operation of technical facilities, compliance with legal requirements and processes) • You work with internal and external working partners <br /> Your background: <br /> • You have experience in the field of justice execution (specialist in justice execution advantageous), security area, socio-pedagogical area, with blue light organizations or comparable fields of activity • You are at least 25 years old and have an impeccable reputation (debt collection and criminal record) • You have good oral and written German language skills (foreign languages advantageous) as well as user knowledge of MS Office • You possess decision-making ability and assertiveness, are resilient, set priorities in difficult situations and act calmly, de-escalating and proportionally • You approach people of different cultures and religions in a respectful and professional manner • You are a team player, empathetic, responsible and have personal maturity • You have a professional degree EFZ and/or several years of professional experience <br /> For questions about the position Sven Anhorn Head of Muttenz Prison sven.anhorn@bl.ch T 061 552 33 60 Office for Justice Execution/Prisons The prison system is a specialist area of the Office for Justice Execution of the Security Directorate. The different forms of detention -- primarily pre-trial detention and short prison sentences -- are carried out at the prison locations Muttenz, Liestal, Arlesheim and Sissach (temporarily closed). A total of around 138 places are available for this purpose.
