ICT Systems Engineer (POLYCOM operations)

Berne (and home office) | 80-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute • Operate the POLYCOM security radio system for users in the army and affiliated Confederation organizations • Manage and configure terminals in collaboration with the responsible deployment and logistics services • Guarantee the proper functioning of the main POLYCOM infrastructure of the defense sub-network • Participate in projects relating to the development of POLYCOM within the defense sub-network from planning to design and the development of concrete and sophisticated solution proposals, including testing, delivery and operation of the solutions • Ensure IT service management for long-term use and participate in national working groups (if necessary) • Prepare documentation, develop knowledge and organize training for the operations team and users <br /> What makes you unique • Degree in the field of computer science (ES/HES), technology (ES) or engineering (ES/HES) with specialization in computer science or telecommunications • Solid knowledge of digital radio technology and basic knowledge of mobile telephony (4G/LTE, 5G, Mobile Core, VoLTE, IMS) • Good knowledge of IP networks (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, DNS, VPN, Firewalls) and IT service management • Knowledge of monitoring, troubleshooting and quality assurance of communication systems • Basic knowledge of aspects relating to the security of communication networks (e.g. encryption, authentication, certificate management) • Structured and autonomous working method within the company and projects, including collaboration with suppliers <br /> In a few words Join the Cyber command and contribute to the proper functioning of Switzerland's security radio system for the benefit of the army and the rescue and security authorities and organizations (AOSS).
