Electromechanic We are looking for an experienced electromechanic who will take on a central role in quality assurance, repair, and the continuous improvement of our products. The position combines practical repair and assembly work with quality control responsibility, workshop maintenance, and active participation in the optimization of test setups and assembly processes. You are part of the hardware development team and work closely with production. In this way, you contribute both to day-to-day business and to long-term quality initiatives. In this role you will: Repair devices returned by customers, including the diagnosis and replacement of electronic components Repair and refurbish devices from assembly that exhibit faults or fail quality tests Perform error analyses of defective devices in cooperation with the hardware engineers Operate the repair, mechanics, and electronics workshop and ensure that it is organized and ready for use at all times Perform quality controls during assembly and for incoming parts (IQC) Document repairs, quality issues, and component changes in the ticketing system and QMS Track the error history per device, including cause, measures taken, and replaced parts Document findings in the Design Change Notice (CCN) and review updated assembly instructions Optimize and co-develop new test setups Product tests such as impact/drop, aging, and leak tests Support the assembly team during peak loads Optimize assembly processes and component design in close cooperation with the hardware engineers Design simple mechanical parts and fixtures in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks) Your profile Completed vocational training (EFZ) as a multimedia electronics technician, electronics technician, polymechanic, or designer Further training at a technical college (HF) is an advantage Proven experience in the repair of electronic devices or precision mechanics Strong practical skills in electronics repair, including fault diagnosis and component replacement at the component level Solid understanding of assembly principles; experience in both electronics and mechanics. Basic knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks or similar) is an advantage High affinity for quality — focusing on precise, careful, and well-documented work Organizational talent — appreciates a clean, structured workplace Curious and practical-minded — likes to repair and understand how things work, even in free time Good English skills for internal communication and documentation.
