It includes participation in research and teaching, in particular the preparation of courses (materials, exercises) and publications (research, corrections) as well as support and participation in research projects of the chair. Depending on qualification and degree of employment, the conduct of courses and the supervision of students may be added. Participation in the preparation and correction of exams and in the supervision of Bachelor, Master and seminar theses is also possible. Another focus can, also depending on your profile, be participation in ongoing and the co-development of future projects in the field of Legal Technology and the Digital Humanities. To this end, you will work closely with internal and external developer teams, translate legal issues into viable conceptual and technical approaches and accompany the development process under subject responsibility. Own projects within the framework of the chair's research priorities can be carried out independently upon agreement. Profile You are studying law in a Bachelor or Master program or have already completed your studies and have, if applicable, already further qualified. An above-average record of achievement as well as the willingness to work deeply into the teaching and research areas of the chair and to work independently is required. A special interest in Legal Tech and Digital Humanities or the willingness to deal deeply with these subject areas in the future is desired. Ideally, in addition to very good legal knowledge, you also have technical knowledge. Due to the close cooperation of the chair with international research networks and universities abroad, foreign language skills are very welcome in addition to very good German skills.
