Chief Fitter in Catenary Traction Vehicle (FZM)

This is what you can move. • Together with the team, you carry out installation work of contact wires, messenger wires, and cables using the catenary traction vehicle (FZM) and, as a chief fitter, take on technical responsibility at the workplace. • You are the contact person for the execution managers (AVU/AV), carry out on-site inspections, and support them in the planning of work with the catenary traction vehicle (FZM). • You coordinate work assignments, resources, and dependencies with the relevant partners, ensuring quality, punctuality, and efficient cooperation. • You lead and instruct employees technically, manage assignments, and monitor the correct execution of the work, as well as compliance with safety measures on the construction sites. • If required, there is also the possibility to train employees on the catenary traction vehicle (FZM) as a militia instructor. This is what you bring with you. • For this exciting challenge, you bring high resilience and a great awareness of safety. Likewise, we place great value on teamwork and an independent way of working. • You possess a certificate of competence in the electrical or construction industry and have several years of experience in catenary construction including switching authorization and expertise. • Good PC and user skills (MS-Office etc.) will facilitate your activities. You have already been able to demonstrate your experience in the execution planning and implementation of construction sites. • Irregular working hours and on-call services do not bother you and you can communicate very well in German (any other national language is a plus). Ideally, you have a driver's license for motive power of category A or higher, as well as a driving license of category B.
