In this function, you will take on a central role in the development, design, and optimization of demanding tools, fixtures, and technical solutions for industrial manufacturing processes. You will work closely with production, toolmaking, quality assurance, and engineering, and ensure that new as well as existing solutions are implemented precisely, economically, and with process reliability. 02 Your Task ## • Developing and designing demanding tools, assemblies, and fixtures for series production • Developing tool concepts for new products, process adjustments, and technical optimizations • Designing components considering material behavior, tolerances, wear, and production security • Creating 3D models, individual part drawings, assemblies, bills of materials, and technical documentation • Accompanying tests, sampling, tool adjustments, and optimizations until stable series application • Analyzing manufacturing problems, dimensional deviations, tool wear, and process fluctuations • Developing constructive improvements to increase service life, quality, and process stability • Technical coordination with internal specialist departments as well as external suppliers and manufacturing partners • Supporting standardization, design guidelines, and continuous improvement projects • Technical support within the team for complex design issues 03 Benefits ## • Participation in external further education • Bistro or canteen • Bonus model • Progressive employment conditions • Leisure benefits • Modern workplace • Regular team-building measures and company events • Responsible activities 04 Your Profile ## • Completed training as Konstrukteur EFZ, Polymechaniker EFZ, Werkzeugmacher, or comparable basic technical training • Further education as Techniker HF mechanical engineering, design technology, production technology, or comparable qualification is an advantage • Several years of experience in tool design, ideally in the field of stamping, forming, progressive, or precision tools • Very good understanding of tool construction, cutting clearances, guides, punches, dies, hold-downs, draw radii, and wear parts • Experience with thin-walled metal parts, precise series components, or demanding forming processes is an advantage • Confident handling of 3D CAD systems as well as experience in creating manufacturing-oriented drawings • Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as milling, turning, grinding, EDM, hardening, and surface treatments • Experience in collaborating with toolmaking, production, quality assurance, and process development • Ability to systematically analyze technical problems and develop practical solutions • Exact, structured, and quality-conscious way of working • Good German skills in speaking and writing, English skills are an advantage Technical Focus Areas • Tool design for industrial series processes • Stamping, forming, and precision tools • Manufacturing-oriented design of individual parts and assemblies • Tolerance management and technical feasibility • Analysis of wear, dimensional deviations, and process instabilities • CAD design, drawing creation, and technical documentation • Interface between development, toolmaking, production, and quality assurance 05 Things to Know ## This position is suitable for an experienced design personality who does not just work on CAD, but also understands how a tool must function later in production.
