• 20 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Staefa Staefa, Switzerland Audiological Engineer (m/f/d) In this versatile position within our Research and Development department, you will translate product needs into algorithmic specifications for various audiological functionalities in Sonova's executable audiological model, "EXAM". These functionalities allow hearing aids to be optimally adapted to the individual needs of customers. More about the role • Develop audiological algorithms, models, and software prototypes in our executable audiological model (EXAM) • Propose algorithmic modifications of audiological functionalities based on study results • Perform measurements and evaluate results • Analyze big data • Verify implemented functionalities • Support Marketing during product launches and the preparation of publications More about you • University degree in a scientific or technical discipline, such as physics, electrical engineering or similar, a doctorate is an advantage • Experience in modeling complex relationships and application of statistical methods, as well as knowledge of Python, MATLAB and object-oriented software development • Experience and interest in AI-assisted software development • Knowledge in psychoacoustics, electroacoustics or signal processing is an advantage • Proactive, goal-oriented and solution-oriented personality with strong systems thinking skills • Enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary team • Fluent command of English mandatory; knowledge of German is strongly desired More about what we offer As one of the leading global hearing care providers based in Switzerland, we are committed to building an inclusive culture.
