Portrait of the school/institution ### Since 1890, we have been the center for people, profession, and economy. We offer the Berner Oberland more than just education, a lifetime long. Our vocational school comprises 23 professions from the fields of construction, wood, technology, gastronomy & hotel management, health, social affairs, and economy. At our four locations, around 2000 apprentices are currently being taught by over 120 teachers. To ensure smooth operations in the school, employees work in administration, in the technical support of the IT infrastructure, and in the facility management. The Health and Social Affairs department includes the training courses AGS, FaBe-Kin, FaGe, as well as FaGe-E and is looking from 12 October 2026 or by arrangement for a motivated personality for substitution "maternity leave" as Vocational School Teacher Childcare Specialist EFZ - Child Department (15%) ### Bildungszentrum Interlaken (bzi) 3800 Interlaken Tasks ### • Teaching vocational knowledge (4 lessons on Tuesday afternoon) - Preparation/follow-up and further development of lessons - Active cooperation in the class team - School tasks according to the professional mandate - Supporting and living values and attitudes Requirements ### • Degree as Kindheitspädagogin/Kindheitspädagoge HF, Sozialpädagogin/Sozialpädagoge HF or comparable training - Sound practical experience in the professional accompaniment and care of children and/or adolescents - Joy in teaching young adults - Teaching experience at Sek. level II is an advantage - Ideally teaching qualification Berufsfachschullehrer/-in BKU (or willingness to obtain this later) - Willingness to cooperate in a team We offer ### • Supported entry into teaching activity - Exciting task in a professional, dynamic environment - Committed, collegial team - Contemporary infrastructure - Employment according to cantonal legislation - Location Interlaken easily accessible by public transport Contact ### After the assignment, there is the possibility to take on further substitutions.
