A preferred partner of clients and architects, it intervenes throughout the entire life cycle of projects, mainly on large-scale achievements in the public and parapublic sectors, combining technical requirements, architectural quality, and sustainable impact. As part of the development of its Fribourg office, it now wishes to strengthen its team and has mandated us for the recruitment of its future Construction Manager Iconic construction projects You occupy a central role in the realization of construction projects. As the true guarantor of their proper execution, you coordinate companies, consultants, and various partners to ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality requirements. Within an experienced team, you lead large-scale projects in an environment that favors collaboration, proximity to the field, and technical excellence. Main responsibilities Intervene from the general estimate and tender phases in order to prepare the optimal conditions for project execution. Develop and manage execution schedules, organize phasing, site installations, and guarantee compliance with deadlines. Ensure construction management by coordinating all companies, consultants, and partners involved on the site. Supervise tendering procedures, participate in contract awards, and ensure the monitoring of company contracts, particularly within the framework of public procurement. Guarantee cost control, check supplementary offers, installments, and invoices, while ensuring budget compliance. Be the guarantor of the quality of work execution, in close collaboration with architects, specialized consultants, and companies. Ensure a regular presence on construction sites, anticipate difficulties, propose pragmatic solutions, and ensure the smooth progress of the work. Maintain a relationship of trust with clients, architects, consultants, and companies throughout the realization of projects. Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth execution in accordance with the set objectives. Contribute actively to the success of complex construction projects by guaranteeing compliance with costs, deadlines, and the expected level of quality. Your profile Benefiting from training in the construction field (architect, engineer, ES technician or equivalent training), you possess solid technical and constructive knowledge. You justify confirmed experience in construction management in Switzerland, ideally on complex and large-scale projects, particularly in the public or parapublic sectors. You master TCE (Total Building/Civil/Electrical) construction management and are comfortable in managing costs, deadlines, quality, as well as the coordination of companies and consultants. Comfortable with IT tools, you use MS Project, Excel and ideally Messerli. Reliable, committed, and proactive, you demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and like to be present on the ground to move projects forward. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you know how to establish a climate of trust with clients, architects, consultants, and companies. You possess natural authority and know how to enforce decisions with tact, diplomacy, and pragmatism. Structured, rigorous, and comfortable with numbers, you appreciate demanding environments where anticipation, organization, and reactivity are essential.
