Job description ### The association Robi-Spiel-Aktionen operates 9 day structures at primary schools in Basel-Stadt on behalf of the Education Department. The voluntary, modularly structured offer includes childcare during lunch and in the afternoon. To supplement our team, we are looking for a pedagogical management ## in the day structure Hirzbrunnen with a workload of 60% as of August 1, 2026, or by agreement. The working hours are distributed over 5 days during the 41 weeks of school time per year. As pedagogical management, you will assume the technical-pedagogical responsibility for the quality of everyday childcare in the day structure. You will ensure that the location-specific concept is effectively implemented, reflected, and further developed in everyday life. Main tasks: ### • Co-design, implementation, and further development of the pedagogical concept of the day structure • Definition and anchoring of pedagogical goals, rituals, rules, daily routines, and relationship design in the team • Technical accompaniment and support of the team in pedagogical questions, challenging situations, child guidance, and group processes • Observation, accompaniment, and promotion of children and child groups in everyday life, as well as coordination of suitable support, integration, and participation measures, especially for children with special support needs or challenging behavior • Incorporation of pedagogical assessments and participation in reports or site assessments • Coordination of cooperation with internal specialists, school-related services, and external agencies • assumption of administrative tasks within the framework of pedagogical management, in particular documentation, coordination of agreements, reporting, and participation in planning and organizational tasks • Participation in supervision, intervision, and the further development of a common pedagogical culture in the team Requirements profile: ### • Training in social pedagogy or childhood pedagogy (HF/FH) • Professional experience in working with children and young people • Further training as a practice trainer or willingness to complete it is an advantage • Experience in participatory work: involvement of children and employees in decisions • Good time management, organizational talent, and reliable leadership competence • Trustworthy, clear, and appreciative communication; pronounced relationship and conflict competence Contact-friendly personality who is flexible and resilient, creative and humorous.
