For the operation, further development and modernization of our application landscape, we are looking for an engaged and technically savvy personality as Application Manager 80-100% Your role In this role, you will take responsibility for the introduction, operation, further development and monitoring of applications and services in your area of responsibility. In doing so, you will operate at the interface between specialist departments, IT and external [parties] analyze existing solutions, identify optimization potential and actively drive the modernization of our application landscape, particularly in the areas of cloud, automation, integration and lifecycle management. Your tasks include in particular: Introduction and further development of SaaS and On-Premises solutions Operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of applications and services Automation of technical processes and support for modern operating processes Specification, implementation, testing and operation of interfaces Participation in change, release and lifecycle management Ensuring system quality, information security and data protection Cooperation with internal stakeholders as well as external service partners Co-design of technical standards and modern operating models You contribute your own ideas, take responsibility and actively shape improvements together with your colleagues. Your profile Completed education in (Business) Informatics at tertiary level (HF, FH, ETH or university) Several years of practical experience in Application Management, ideally in the environment of standard and individual software Good technical knowledge in the areas of automation, interfaces and modern operating processes Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Knowledge of Git (e.g. GitHub) as well as experience with Azure Cloud and Terraform Experience in the introduction and further development of software solutions (SaaS and On-Premises solutions) Understanding of system quality, information security and data protection Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation as well as an open and agile way of working Very good German skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing Our offer – why Swissmedic A meaningful activity with a direct contribution to public health awaits you.
