Restaurant im Speck | Flugplatz Speck-Fehraltorf We are looking for a trained restaurant specialist who enjoys practicing their profession and knows what constitutes good service. For us, it is not about simply carrying plates from A to B. We want our guests to feel comfortable and welcome. This includes attentiveness, expertise, a natural and professional way of interacting with people, and the ability to maintain an overview even when a lot is happening. You manage your service station independently, take responsibility for your area, and recognize what is currently needed. Good cooperation with the kitchen and service team is just as important to us as professional and warm interaction with our guests. We are looking for someone who thinks ahead, is reliable, and has mastered their profession. We value open communication, mutual support, and people who look for solutions together with the team. A requirement for this position is a completed apprenticeship as Restaurantfachfrau / Restaurantfachmann EFZ or an equivalent recognized professional qualification. Since communication with our guests and within the team is central, you understand Swiss German well and can express yourself confidently and understandably in German. What awaits you with us The Restaurant im Speck is located directly at the Flugplatz Speck-Fehraltorf. Our daily routine is correspondingly versatile: from regular guests at lunch to families and excursionists, as well as corporate events, banquets, and guests from aviation. We are a manageable operation with short decision-making paths. You will receive the freedom to manage your area independently and contribute your expertise. Good ideas are welcome. A good togetherness and a team where people can rely on each other is important to us. Following the fire of our Restaurant im Speck in July 2025, we are currently continuing our operations in a spacious temporary facility. At the same time, we are already planning the next phase of the Restaurant im Speck with the future replacement building. The position can be filled with a workload between 50 and 100 %. The working hours are based on our gastronomy operations and therefore also include shifts in the evening as well as on weekends and public holidays. Does this suit you?
