Accountant

The «Kreuz» in Solothurn is the oldest cooperatively managed pub in Switzerland. In addition to the restaurant, the cooperative includes a hotel operation, the Cafébar Landhaus and our summer refreshment stand, the «Böxli». For our central office, we are looking for as of 1 September or by arrangement a Accountant (approx. 40%, as a permanent position or mandate). Your tasks • Overview of all cash flows and investments • Financial accounting (incl. VAT returns, collection and liquidity planning) • Payroll accounting and social insurance • Financial statements, budgets and preparation and follow-up of general assemblies (in cooperation with the board) • Controlling and internal reporting for various committees, participation in meetings • Collaboration in human resources and general office operations Your profile • Training or relevant experience in the (payroll) accounting field • Proficient in legal frameworks (L-GAV, OR/AR, withholding tax etc.) • Relevant knowledge or corresponding affinity for Abacus, Comatic and Excel • Entrepreneurial mindset that sees employees as the greatest capital • Structured, independent, efficient and quality-conscious way of working • Company-wide helpfulness, patience and willingness to explain We offer • Industry-standard salary and contemporary working conditions with flexible working hours, annual working hours, 5 weeks vacation and generous benefits in kind • Few hierarchical levels, short distances and working at eye level • The possibility, upon request, to take on additional tasks in other areas • The possibility to become a cooperative member and actively participate in decision-making Application deadline is 16 August.
