Machine Operator Track Construction Machinery (m/f/d) # Your job ## • Execution of various positions in the team on our track construction machinery • Binding cooperation within the machine crew • Execution of overhaul work on machines in winter at the maintenance locations of the Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group • Execution of track maintenance work on the railway facilities according to the specifications of the railways • Participation in maintenance and repair work on the machines at the construction sites • Universally deployable, also for assistance with tasks outside of his/her actual area of work in the sense of polyvalence • Compliance with quality and safety regulations at the construction sites and in operation • Concentrated handling and careful care of the machines and work equipment Your profile ## • Technical vocational training as a polymechanic/mechanical fitter, agricultural machinery, truck or construction machinery mechanic, as well as an electrician/electrical fitter and automation technician • Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic units is an advantage • Flexibility for day/night shifts during the summer months • High sense of responsibility and safety in the track area • Physical resilience and accustomed to working outdoors • Car driver's license and a vehicle for commuting to the construction sites • Reliability, high commitment and ability to work in a team • Good German skills • Locations of assignment throughout Switzerland We offer ## • Gain an interesting insight into the world of railway technology • Take responsibility for versatile and demanding tasks • Make an important contribution to the construction and maintenance of railway infrastructure • Benefit from internal as well as external further training • Modern employment conditions according to GAV Swissmem Our employees are strong people who are aware of their responsibility and never lose the fun in what they do.
