The Département de médecine communautaire et de premier recours (DMCPR) has a societal mission to enable access to quality care for all through proximity medicine, to ensure the management of minor medical and surgical emergencies, to promote prevention among citizens, to provide medical knowledge to judicial investigations, and to promote the health of travelers. The Service de médecine de premier recours ensures the outpatient care of adult patients requiring primary care medicine. This service also offers outpatient emergency medicine services to the population. As part of the HUG's missions of general interest, it offers access to care for populations disadvantaged by their age, social, economic, or legal status (asylum seekers, those facing non-admissibility, undocumented persons, prisoners), or their lifestyle; if necessary, the primary care service also ensures the continuity of their care. Within the département de médecine communautaire et de premier recours (DMCPR), the unité d'épidémiologie populationnelle (UEP) monitors disease risk factors through an epidemiological observatory (Etude Bus Santé). It conducts large-scale epidemiological studies on several dimensions of health and well-being. The data collected will guide decision-makers in charge of prevention and health promotion. Research Assistant - 80% or 100% As part of your activity, you contribute to the design, management, and analysis of data necessary for conducting population studies, under the supervision of the project manager. You participate in the entire study life cycle, from planning to the dissemination of results. You ensure the maintenance, improvement, and evolution of databases to meet the needs of research teams. You also ensure the monitoring, resolution, and documentation of technical requests via GitHub. You design, perform, interpret, and present the data analyses necessary for population studies. You participate in the implementation of online questionnaires. You perform quality controls before production, notably the verification of questionnaire logic, functional tests, and the validation of respondent paths. You ensure the integration of questionnaires into different management and communication tools, notably SugarCRM, Ibexa, and survey platforms. You also prepare recipient lists for communication campaigns. You collaborate with research, IT, and project management teams to guarantee the quality and consistency of processes. You also participate in various tasks in support of the team. Qualifications You hold a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, health, or medical field. A Master's in statistics, data management, epidemiology, or a related discipline is an asset. You have at least two years of professional experience in the field of research, epidemiology, or population studies. You are proficient in SQL and Python for data management and analysis, particularly for conducting descriptive and multivariate analyses. Proficiency in R is an asset, particularly for translating R code to Python. You possess strong knowledge in statistics applied to public health, epidemiology, and database management. Experience with GitHub or version control tools is appreciated. Knowledge of JotForm or similar data collection tools is an asset, as well as CSS skills. Experience with digital tools such as CRM platforms (notably SugarCRM), marketing automation solutions (e.g., Act-On), or electronic case report forms (eCRF) for clinical studies is also an advantage. You have an excellent command of spoken and written French. You demonstrate rigor, autonomy, versatility, and the ability to adapt to various tools and environments.
