male assistant for the youth center (10%)

Kirchberg BE is an up-and-coming, attractive and very well-connected central municipality with around 6-000 inhabitants. kakerlak offers regional child and youth work for the municipalities of Aefligen, Ersigen, Kernenried, Kirchberg, Lyssach, Rüdtligen-Alchenflüh and Rüti bei Lyssach, around 13-500 inhabitants. We are looking for, immediately or by arrangement, to complement the team a  male assistant for the youth center  ## (approx. 10%, limited until 31.12.2026) The position includes: • Participation in the entire field of activity of youth work corresponding to the level of training • Collaboration in the youth center, establishing contact and relationship work with young people, support and guidance of young people in meeting situations • Participation and involvement in projects, actions and events • Cooperation in the team This is what we wish for: • Interest in the field of social work with a focus on youth • Awareness of gender equality, anti-discrimination and intercultural diversity as well as the ability to integrate these topics professionally and resource-oriented into daily work • Pedagogue (trained or in training) • Interest in the professional field of youth work • Experience and interest in dealing with young people • Teamwork skills, sociability, flexibility, independence and resilience • Willingness to work irregular hours (main working time 2-3 Fridays per month, between 18.00 - 22.30 / Wednesday 17:00-19:00 / scheduling flexible according to work schedule) • Due to the current team constellation, we are looking for a male person
