As a Senior Physician, with or without a specialist title, you guarantee the quality of medical services in the care units of your area of competence. You coordinate practical activities as well as diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for the patients entrusted to you in close collaboration with the assistant physicians. Evolving in a stimulating university environment, within an interdisciplinary team, you also contribute to the training of resident doctors. You participate in clinical research activities and, depending on your personal interest, you begin a quality or clinical research project with specific supervision. You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Commission des professions médicales of the Office fédéral de la santé publique (MEBEKO). You benefit from or are close to obtaining the FMH specialist title in general internal medicine. In benefit of an FMH specialist title, you must possess a right of practice in the canton of Geneva. For non-French speaking candidates, a C1 level of French in spoken and written tests is required. It manages acute situations, notably thanks to the emergencies of the Hôpital des Trois-Chêne, specific problems related to age, medical rehabilitation, and palliative medicine. Located in the heart of a wooded park, the Hôpital de Loëx welcomes patients who require rehabilitation treatment and whose state of health requires an improvement of affected functions with a view to returning home or integration into an adequate institution.
