Dipl. Expert*in Anesthesia Nursing NDS HF 80–100% – Ref. 405120 Location: Canton Basel-Stadt For a university children's hospital, we are looking for a dedicated and responsible nursing specialist in the field of anesthesia nursing. In this function, you will play a central role in the safe execution and monitoring of anesthetics as well as in the postoperative care of children and adolescents. You will work in an interprofessional environment with modern infrastructure and make a significant contribution to patient safety and treatment quality. Tasks • Independent execution and monitoring of anesthetics in close cooperation with the medical team • Care and monitoring of patients in complex and unstable situations • Conducting and supporting sedations as well as monitoring of vital functions • Ensuring the readiness for use and application of modern anesthesia and resuscitation equipment • Conducting life-saving emergency measures including ventilation and resuscitation • Postoperative care as well as pain visits for children and adolescents • Empathetic care of patients and their relatives • Participation in the on-call service (without being on call) • Support and technical guidance for new employees and learners • Close interprofessional collaboration in the OR and anesthesia team Requirements • Completed training as Dipl.
