Bern, Switzerland \| 100-100% (jobsharing possible) The contribution you can make <br /> • Responsible for the detection, analysis, and management of functional and technical requirements in the areas of expertise. • Evaluate technical specifications and supplier quotes in terms of performance, costs, and budget. • Direct DWH and BI projects or assume responsibility as a sub-project leader. • Assume technical leadership as the person responsible for the relevant IT services within the scope of labor market statistics, as well as device-operational reporting. • Responsible for the design, Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, and testing in DWH and BI projects, as well as the maintenance and development of IT services. • Provide consultancy to specialized sectors in the fields of Analytics, BI, reporting, and statistics. <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree (SSP/SUP/university) in computer science, business information technology, or equivalent qualification. • Several years of experience in business information technology, preferably in the management of IT systems and highly complex IT architectures. • Excellent knowledge, proven by experience, of the sectors Analytics, BI, DWH, reporting, and statistics. • Analytical-conceptual spirit, aptitude for leadership, enjoyment of collaborating in cross-functional teams. • Good active knowledge, written and oral, of one official language, and passive knowledge of a second; knowledge of English. <br /> In summary The Labor Directorate of SECO is part of the Confederation's competence center for all key issues related to labor market policy and unemployment insurance. Within the IT sector, the Data Warehouse Application Services group contributes to the monthly production of official statistics on the labor market in Switzerland, provides tools for the efficient and effective management and control of decentralized executing bodies, as well as management support tools for the compensation office and the executing bodies. Furthermore, it manages over a dozen comprehensive data and analysis applications.
